Mount Fuji and Cherry Blossom Craziness in Tokyo

Last stop: Tokyo! And on the way along the coast a fantastic look at Mount Fuji.

We caught a lucky day after heavy winds had cleared out the sky and Mount Fuji presented itself in all its beauty.

When we got into Tokyo the cherry blossom party was in full swing. Even though it was a week day the parks were crowded with people and every last square meter was staked out by pick nickers. Per news paper prices for bento boxes were up from last year and sales was up, too. Therefore the conclusion was that the Japanese economy was doing better.
