“Vagabonding is an attitude — a friendly interest in people, places, and things that makes a person an explorer in the truest, most vivid sense of the word.” – Rolf Potts in his book “Vagabonding”
Around the World
In 2013 we took a year off from our professional commitments and followed our vagabond hearts: We visited South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Meeting people from different walks of life and engaging with different cultures became our school of life.
Using social networks, online tools and an open mind we lived with locals and expats in multiple countries, worked on a tomato farm in Argentina, got involved in community projects in Malawi, set up a website for a Bedouin in Jordan and managed a healthy living start-up in Malaysia.
The longer we traveled the more relaxed we got about the next day and the easier we participated in new cultures. We experienced the world as a wonderful place and the human society as a wonderful mind.
