Happy New Year! We are back online! Our web site provider made some upgrades to January 1st and spent the last 2 weeks fixing bugs. Anyhow: The saga continues!
To celebrate New Year we left the foggy and rainy Malaysian highlands and went to the sunny and warm George Town on the island Penang.
George Town is World Heritage site since 2008 and known for its well-preserved colonial core, with original shop houses dating from the 19th century to the 1930s still surviving. We took it easy, cruised the pastry stores and strolled through the streets of downtown enjoying the coolest attraction of the city, the murals by local and international artists.
