We arrived in Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia on Dec. 26.

KL is not very pretty so we took a bus to the Cameron Highlands 4 hrs north of KL the next day. The highlands are known for their vegetables and tea plantations and Rafflesia, the biggest flower on Earth. They are also known for their unpredictable weather and we got rained on quite a lot. However, we persisted and made it through the muddy rain forest to the flower we came for.
