Bagan was once populated with 13 000 temples, pagodas and religious structures from the 11th to the 13th century. Today 2000 well preserved pagodas remained covering an area of 64 km². We rented bicycles and spend 2 days around, in and on top of the pagodas searching for a forgotten Buddha. Unfortunately the weather turned against us and it started to rain at the end of the second day so we decided to move on to Mandalay faster than expected.
