After leaving Zanzibar in the middle of the night we arrived in Istanbul yesterday. The sun is shining, the food is spectacular, the city is busting and we found a great place in the middle of Taksim. By the way there are no visible signs of the fights of he last months.

We will leave for the historic sites at the coast tonight and return in a few weeks to explore the city.
