We finally started our trip up the coast towards Mozambique. The reason we stayed so long in Cape Town was Darryl: He is the cousin of a South African world traveler we met in Peru and he let us crash in his spare bedroom. He encouraged us to take it easy, lay back, put our feet up and have a tea.

Darryl founded Panda Land,  a health food store at University of Cape Town, when he was still a student there. Now it pays for his living and feeds 6 employees. Currently he is working on a business idea supporting local artists and artisans.
