First day in Lima – first day on a long journey – first day without common routine. We realize that it will take time to adjust to our new life.

The aunt of a friend from LA is helping us to get organized in Lima. Since we didn’t work on our almost not existing Spanish and her English is limited at best we are thankful to Google translate. Conversations are conducted with our computer on our lap.

Unfortunately that’s not very helpful when we are on the street trying to catch the right bus. So we just enjoy the ride and hope for the best.
