Today is our last day in Cusco. Tomorrow morning at 8AM we will board the bus to Puno for a 1 day tourist affair of the floating islands. The next day we will cross the Bolivian border for a new chapter of our trip.

The plan is to check the Bolivian part of the lake Titicaca on Isla del Sol, take a bus to La Paz and from there a plane to Rurrenabaque in the Amazon delta. After a trip into the Amazon rain forest we plan to track south along Cochabamba, Sucre and Potosi to Uyuni. In Uyuni we plan to take a 3 day trip into the salt flats which are one of the 1000 places to see before you die.

If we survive the freezing cold nights in the flats we will move south from there to cross the border to Argentina with the first destination Salta in about 4 to 5 weeks from now.

We hear that internet is a challenge in Bolivia so we will get online whenever we can to keep you updated.
