We arrived in Cusco Wednesday morning after an overnight bus ride from Arequipa. The bus stopped in the middle of the night and we heard a lot of loud banging somewhere from where the engine should be. After a few go-stop-banging-go episodes the bus miraculously made it all the way up the mountains into Cusco at 3400m / 10.200 f.

We found a great hospedaje where we will spend the next 5 days while taking a Spanish crash course. We were told that in our next destination; Bolivia — English will not get us anywhere.
